Why we love this deal

We know how important it is to invest in physical media these days. Streaming offers plenty of convenience and opportunities to discover great new albums, TV shows, films, and even video games, but licensing deals are ephemeral, and even digital movie purchases can disappear as sales platforms merge or disappear altogether. All too often, you’re given a choice between spending $15 for a month of a given subscription service or not much more money to own a physical Blu-ray copy, and for me, personally, the latter has become the preferred way to experience, collect, and preserve my favorites.

Whether you’re an audiophile with an old CD collection, a movie buff with a mountain of DVDs and Blu-rays, or a gamer with a small but growing library of retro games in cartridge or disc format, having some nice dedicated shelf space is essential for keeping everything organized, easy to find, and safe from getting lost or damaged. Of course, as soon as I had a nice shelf to store my Blu-rays on a few years back, I suddenly found myself buying a lot more of them, but that can be a fun problem to have, too.

If you’re looking for a great, space-efficient storage solution for your CDs, movies, or games, Walmart has a worthy option in the Skyshalo Multimedia Storage Cabinet, priced at just $136.
